to transform their life.

As a Life Coach I come to our partnership as a facilitator, I will aim to

challenge, inspire, and empathise whilst holding you to account.

My background is in mental health and wellbeing/self management with a special interest in mental illness. I understand that our mental health and wellness and what affects it usually is a result of a combination of factors rather than one single cause, diagnosis are complex, so as a wellbeing coach I will focus on a set of behaviours that are affecting you rather than a label. Learning about ourlselves and get in touch with our True Self the factors that affect our vulnerabilities/triggers can allow us to protect ourselves.

 

I work in a structured way across minimum of six sessions, but I also allow for the coaching process to flow and to go where it’s needed to get the best results. It is said that it takes around 6 weeks for a new behaviour to become a habit and habits/rituals create lasting changes. We can cover whatever we feel is most beneficial to you as an individual, but things we can also cover can include: - Mind/body connection, managing low mood, making good decisions, being kind to yourself, sleep, pain and fatigue management, healthy boundaries and communications.

Where appropriate (and with your permission), I draw on my own personal life experiences and professional experience as an NHS mental health practitioner and an NHS self-management programme facilitator using my knowledge of tool and resources to keep you motivated, self aware, focused and moving forward in your goals and visions. I used to keep myself and my service users motivated, focussed and moving forward. 

I am always keen to develop a connection with my clients, and to provide them with a confidential space for them to open up and share their deepest fears and dreams. My love of yoga, meditation, nature, cooking, my dogs, and personal development is a constant source of inspiration for me.

 

I will not tell you what to do. I will support, encourage, challenge and motivate you to find the answers inside you. And to connect with that part of you that knows whether something rings true for you or not, your higher or spiritual self.

I will help you recognise and gain the skills to understand the connection between our thoughts, feelings and actions, that affect our physical and mental wellbeing.
