What is EFT - (Emotional Freedom Technique)?

 

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is the most exciting, powerful technique to come out of the last decade! It is one of the new ‘Energy Psychologies’ and is rooted in the ancient Chinese meridian energy system. It’s like an emotional form of acupuncture, minus the needles - you simply tap energy meridian points on your body, with your fingertips.
EFT is based on the discovery theory that all negative emotions are the result of disruptions in the body’s energy system.


This approach has been around for over 5,000 years, and Albert Einstein told us in the 1920’s that everything is made up of energy. Western medicine seems to have over looked this major component in healing, until now and the breakthrough of EFT.


Essentially, EFT relieves symptoms by tapping various body points as we tune into, or focus on the problem. This tapping balances energy meridians that have become disrupted when we think about or experience an emotionally disturbing circumstance. Once balanced, the upset is usually resolved – the memory stays but the emotional charge is gone.
